Tiny Circles
Welcome to the first showing of Jeremy Gregory's "puppets" where you will embark upon a journey that will take you up close and personal with personalities that Gregory has re-created, puppet-style! Put yourself in their shoes as the unique qualities in each piece is an experience not to be missed. Watch out!, You may find yourself oddly connected to them.
A native to Tacoma, Gregory was born an artist. Since graduating from the Art Institute in Seattle, Jeremy's passion has only grown. He embraces a wide range of mediums like stop-motion production, Weekly Volcano covers, his comic strip True Grit, illustration, skateboard designs, CD covers and more.
Gregory participated in the City's Public Art: In Depth (PA:ID) program and stays actively involved with city mural programs. In between volunteer time, studio time and eating to survive time, you can find Jeremy teaching graphic arts in downtown Tacoma at School of the Arts (SOTA).

Juliette Ricci
Juliette's paintings are a reflection of events that happen in the everyday. She creates her art as a dual therapy by expressing both the positive and the negative in hopes that the viewer may connect via similar experiences or moments in their lives.
Ricci is a graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and recently honored as part of the 10th Northwest Biennial at the Tacoma Art Museum.

Chris Sharp
Chris Sharp's beautiful hand-lettering adorns many of his canvases, and can also be seen all around Tacoma via his commercial sign-painting at Satellite Coffee, Infinite Soups, and The Rosewood Cafe, among others.
He has most recently had solo exhibitions at Mineral, at the Pacific Lutheran University Gallery, and The Telephone Room.
He received his MFA in 1998 from Washington State University, and he was the recipient of the 2008 Greater Tacoma Community Foundation's Annual Foundation Art Award.

Beautiful Angle
Beautiful Angle is a guerrilla arts poster project in Tacoma, Washington. Approximately once per month since October of 2002, graphic designer Lance Kagey and writer Tom Llewellyn have created hand-crafted, letterpress posters and then distributed them around the city's downtown core via wheat paste and staples. Typical subjects include place, faith, hope and the daily struggles of life, all from a purely Tacoma-centric point of view.

Henk Meyers
Henk was always a visual child. On his 10th Christmas, Henk was introduced to photography when his grandmother gave him a camera and a photography book.
In 2009, he won the 2009 Washington State High School Photography Competition coming in first place in the animal category. He uses his photography to share his eye for detail and composition.

Mindy Barker
Mindy Barker is a lifelong Washington Sate resident, born in Tacoma. Mindy's work can be found in Puget Sound homes and businesses, with some as far away as Oregon, southern California, Arizona, and Hawaii.

Lisa Kinoshita
A Tacoma native, Lisa was our first Featured Artist during the Winter of 2008. Lisa creates hand-crafted and unique pieces using natural materials and has been featured in the New York Times, ELLE and other national publications.

Maureen McHugh
Maureen McHugh is Tacoma born and bred and the co-owner of Mad Hat Tea Company. Her media generally involves the fabulous flowing of India ink on a variety of surfaces but she’s been known to dabble in the giant pot of artistic mediums and has a soft spot for glitter. She digs words and wit and regularly inserts them into her work.

Jessica Spring is the proprietor of Springtide Press in Tacoma, Washington where she designs, prints and binds unique artist books, broadsides and ephemera incorporating handmade paper and letterpress printing.
